Rules of Conduct for Participants of the "Arkadash" International Youth Camp

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1. These Rules apply to all participants staying at the "Arkadash" International Youth Camp (hereinafter — the Camp) during the camp session.
1.2. The Rules are developed to ensure the safety of life and health of participants, protection of property, organization of discipline and order, as well as effective implementation of the recreation and leisure program.
1.3. For violation of these Rules, disciplinary measures may be taken to the participant (conversation with a counselor, informing parents/legal guardians), and in exceptional cases (actions threatening the life and health of the participant or others, gross and repeated violations) — early expulsion (departure) from the Camp at the initiative of the administration.

2. DAILY SCHEDULE AND ROUTINE

2.1. The participant is obliged to follow the Camp's daily routine (wake-up time, exercise, meals, group activities, lights-out). Information about the daily schedule is available on the camp noticeboard and through the camp's official social media channels.
2.2. Participants must not leave their accommodation after lights-out unless authorised by a supervisor or counsellor.
2.3. Attendance of all scheduled activities (educational, sports, cultural) is mandatory. Exemption is possible only for health reasons (as determined by a medical professional).

3. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AND PROHIBITIONS

3.1. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Leaving the Camp territory without permission. Leaving the premises is only allowed when accompanied by Camp staff and with written permission from the session director.
- Smoking, vaping, consuming alcohol, or using narcotic, toxic or other prohibited substances.
- Using profanity.
- Approaching lakes, rivers or other bodies of water.
- Entering utility and technical premises on one's own (boiler room, kitchen, electrical panels, storage rooms).
- Climbing onto attics, roofs, scaffolding, trees, or railings.
- Allowing unauthorised persons onto the camp premises.
- Playing with fire, making campfires, using pyrotechnics, lighters, or matches.
- Bringing, storing, using, or distributing sharp objects or weapons (including knives, scissors, unless required for supervised club activities), gas or pneumatic weapons, flammable liquids.
3.2. For electrical safety:
- It is forbidden to use electric boilers, electric kettles, irons, and other heating appliances in accommodation buildings.

4. ACCOMMODATION RULES

4.1. Participants are expected to take care of the Camp's property (furniture, bedding, equipment) as well as the personal property of other participants and staff.
4.2. Maintain cleanliness in living quarters and common areas (showers and toilets), observe personal hygiene rules.
4.3. It is not recommended to store valuables (expensive equipment, jewellery, large sums of money) in nightstands or under pillows. The Camp administration recommends depositing valuables and money with a counselor/director or responsible person. The administration is not responsible for the loss of valuables left unattended.
4.4. It is forbidden to move furniture in the room without prior agreement with the counselor/supervisor.

5. CANTEEN RULES OF CONDUCT

5.1. The canteen may only be visited as part of a group and accompanied by a supervisor or counsellor.
5.2. Hands must be washed before eating.
5.3. It is forbidden to take food out of the canteen (to prevent food spoilage and maintain hygiene standards).
5.4. During meals, maintain cleanliness, behave calmly, and do not disturb other children.

6. RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHERS

6.1. Show respect to elders, care for younger ones, and respect the dignity of peers.
6.2. Physical or psychological violence, including fighting, intimidation, extortion, bullying, insults and humiliation, is strictly prohibited.
6.3. Video and photo recording without the consent of the persons being filmed is prohibited, as is posting photographs or videos on social media platforms or messaging applications that defame the honor and dignity of other participants and staff of the Camp.

7. REPORTING PROBLEMS

7.1. In case of illness, injury, conflict situation, or illegal acts committed against the participant, the participant must immediately report this to the supervisor/counselor or medical staff.
7.2. Upon discovering suspicious objects, the smell of gas, smoke, or fire, the participant must immediately report this to any Camp staff member.

8. FINAL PROVISIONS

8.1. Upon arrival at the Camp, participants undergo an additional safety briefing.

8.2. By entering the camp premises, participants agree to comply with these Rules.
